Day 1: ARRIVAL

Arrival in Kampala and transfer to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, we shall have a Kampala city tour with the help of our driver/guide. This can be done in places like; Kasubi tombs, Uganda Museum, the Parliament, Christian Cathedrals, Mosques, Markets and craft shops around town.

Overnight at Sheraton Hotel(High end), Hotel Africana(Medium end) or Fair Way Hotel(Budget)

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

  After breakfast we shall drive North West of Kampala through Luwero triangle and stop at Masindi town for lunch. After lunch we shall proceed to the top of the falls where the world's longest River Nile explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the rift valley escarpment into a frothing pool 43 meters below.

Thereafter we shall proceed to the lodge.

Dinner and Overnight at Murchison Falls Park at either Paraa Safari Lodge or Nile Safari Camp(High end), Sambiya River Lodge(Medium end) or Red Chilli Rest Camp(budget)

Day 2: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

Early breakfast before departing for a beautiful african sunrise over the savana plains for our game drive.Catch the hippos on their trail back to water after their night time feeding on land, animals grazing and enjoying the morning sun with great chances of seing the harte beast , Kob, Giraffes, Elephants, and the canivores like Lion prides and Leopards.

We will drive back to the lodge for lunch before taking an afternoon boat trip to the foot of Murchison Falls. This boat trip along the Nile is often cited as being the highlight of a trip to Murchison since it allows you to get up-close and personal with the animals. Along this stretch of the river, there are reported to be around 4,000 hippos in addition to some enormous Nile crocodiles. The bird life is stunning with brightly colored kingfishers and bee-eaters darting along the riverbanks. If lucky, you may see the rare and prehistoric looking shoebill, which is a cross between the dodo and a dinosaur. The boat takes you to the base of the falls which only adds to their impressiveness.

Day 3: MURCHISON FALLS - KIBAALE FOREST N.PARK

Depart from Murchison Falls after an early breakfast. Head for Fort Portal town for lunch. After lunch transfer to the lodge for relaxation. The drive is approximately 8 hours.

Dinner and overnight at Luxurious Ndali Lodge/Mid range rwenzori View guest House/Basic kanyankyu Tourist Centre.

Day 4: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING

After breakfast we shall head to Kibale National Park for Chimp tracking. The activity starts at 8am. We will also expect to see a variety of other primates such as red-tailed monkeys, black& white Colobus monkeys.

After viewing the Chimps we shall have lunch. In the afternoon there is an option to visit Bigodi swamp or go to the crater lakes region on our way back to the lodge.

Day 5: KIBALE - QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK.

Early morning transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On our way to the park headquarters, expect elephants, lions, buffaloes, kobs, the Python, hyenas, warthogs, and birds.

At either 15.00 or 17.00 hrs we shall take a boat cruise along Kazinga Channel, to view a variety of yawning hippos, Crocodiles and plenty of bird species.

Dinner and Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Jacana Safari Lodge (High end) Or Park Hostel (budget).

Day 6:GAME DRIVE, QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK.

After breakfast we shall go for an early morning game drive. Expect to see Elephants, Lions, Buffaloes, Water bucks among others.Return to lodge for lunch,enjoy the swimming pool that overlooks the kazinga channel down from mweya lodge were you can see the thirsty animal come down to quench their thirst . Aboat ride on kazing channel is optional after having taken one in murchisson falls so why not take a scenic drive through the beautiful crater lakes and hills around the park or opt for forest walk instead to the bat cave were thousands of Bats fill this cave with giant pythons feeding on them all thiese ofcourse from the safety of a cliff above the cave. return to lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK - BWINDI .

After breakfast, we head off to Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth which is en route to the home of Gorillas at Bwindi.A short game drive through this sector of the park gives usthe opportunity to look for these unique tree climbing Lions. Enjoy a picnic lunch box before continueing our drive to Bwindi inpenetrable forest National park.

Dinner and Overnight at Mantana tented Camp(High end),Buhoma Homestead(medium end) or Buhoma Community campsite(budget)

Day 8:GORILLA TRACKING, BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK.

After breakfast go for the Gorilla briefing. Tracking gorillas may take 2 to 8 hours. Depending on the location of the Gorillas, one may walk a short or long distance in the Impenetrable Forest. We shall have lunch after seeing the Gorillas and head off to Lake Bunyoonyi which is about 3 hours away with over half off the road a nice smooth tammac road with beautifull green hills that run along the road, also an opportunity to take a Nap as the driver takes you safely to your lodge.dinner and overnight Bunyoonyi overland Camps.

Day 9: LAKE BUNYONYI.

Perfect place to spend that extra time in bed after the gorilla tracking, wake up to the sound of peace and quite of the singing birds, open your curtains and you will be overwhelmed by the view of the lake ahead of you. The lake of 'Small bird' as the literate meaning of lake bunyoonyi means is variety of small colourfull birds, after breakfast on the open balcony over seeing the lake, we will take you to an hours boat ride on the lake were you will be amused by the sight of the numerous small isalands on this small lake, we will come across fisher men on their local canoes . return to lodge for early lunch befroe driving north west through the most beautiful scenic bird of the country often referred to as ' the switzerland of Uganda' due to long continuos hills that run along the roads. Dinner and overnight ,Lake Mburo national park. Mantana luxury tented camp or Rwonyo camp (budget)

Day 10: WALKING SAFARI - LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, why not take a relatively different type of safari this time; 'A WALKING SAFARI ' set off with the park rangers out in the park inside the park famously known for the Zebras. other animals include the gigantic eland antelope, topi, impala and several acacia associated birds.the five lakes within the park also attract Hippos, crocodiles and variety of water birds. Have a picnic lunch at view point one of the hills overlooking the park, enjoy the picnic lunch whilst spotting animals grazing peacefully below the open savannah. return to camp before haeding off to Kampala , en route stop at the drum making market and also the equator crossing were crafts shops are available and why not take photos on the equator and receive a certificate of having crossed the equator. Arrive Kampala late afternoon, dinner and overnight, Serena hotel or Hotel International Muyenga. ( chance to go out and enjoy the never sleeping night life of Kampala lots of Cinamas, theatres, bars and dicotheques with no restriction on opening or clossing times)

DAY 11: FOOT HILLS OF MT. ELGON AND SOURCE OF THE NILE

Take your time in bed, after breakfast drive to Mbale to the foothills of mount Elgon.This extinct volcano lies at 4,321 m which is said in prehistoric times stood taller than Kilimanjaro does today. A short walk to visit the historical cave paintings on the foothills of the mountain close to the rail head at Budadiri, spectacular hot springs within the craters and Sippi falls are all possible areas of visit. Drive back to Kampala in the afternoon and on route stop in Jinja to visit the source of the longest river in the world, the Nile river before heading to Kampala arriving Late afternoon. DAY 12: CITY TOUR / SHOPPING (DEPENDING ON FLIGHT TIME) AND DEPARTURE.

For late evening flight , there is an option of spending the morning with the Chimpanzee at Ngamba Island on lake Victoria , see them being fed before connecting to the airport for your onward connections.
